Why did the patient come to the orthodontist?

For aesthetic and functional reasons. The patient wanted 'straight' teeth, replacement of the missing molar by implant prosthetic work and the possibility of a remote orthodontic treatment.

As the patient came from abroad, we opted for an orthodontic treatment with Invisalign braces, because this aligner system offers the possibility of less frequent check-ups at the orthodontist. With Invisalign technology, teeth are aligned by the patient changing the aligners.

Orthodontic treatment has been achieved:

• dental alignment
• correction of the lower interincisal line
• creating space for the implant by correcting the position of migrated teeth due to old extractions
• creation of vertical space by intruding the upper molar in the right , upper quadrant to restore the morphology (shape) of the lower molar and premolar in the right, lower quadrant.

This is followed by prosthetic rehabilitation of the affected teeth and replacement of the extracted tooth with a prosthetic work on implant.
